One weird thing that I noticed, I was playing with an Xbox controller, which is not unusual on my laptop, but the game did show me the inputs on-screen as PlayStation buttons. I found the game to be very challenging and while I was able to avoid the biggest enemies at first, I had very few problems with the smaller Yokai after a while. Nioh 2 is a prime example of what I would normally dislike, which I honestly did not during my gameplay. Now I do dislike the entire “souls-like” genre, I prefer my games to be less complicated (or hard).
Crisp graphics, smooth movements of everything on the screen and even the soundtrack perfectly stayed in sync.

More often than not, I will try to play on a console due to never having had a top of the line PC to play on, but that is now a thing of the past and Nioh 2 proves it all.

I played it on 60 hertz on my OLED TV through my Zephyrus and graphically, this is one of the prettiest games I have played on my laptop. As this game is soon to get an updated PS5 version, I did not play that version, but the also soon to be released version on Steam. I intend to describe how a game can be of a genre you dislike, but still feel respect for the project behind the whole thing.
